Snapshot feature can be integrated with VMware ESX/vSphere snapshots. To integrate a new VMware server with click on the “Add server” option.

You will be asked for the following information:
  • IP address: provide IP address or a hostname associated with your Destination server.
  • Port: 443 is set by default. This value should not be changed, unless explicitly asked by the Support Team.
  • Username: provide the username for the VMware user you wish to use during integration. It is recommended to use the root user for this purpose.
  • Password: to establish the connection, it is required to provide the password to the VMware user account provided in the previous step.

The integrated server will be visible in the table below. The user can browse through the configured datastores and Virtual Machines by going to the Options > Details.

It is also possible to remove the server from integration by clicking the Remove option. Remember to remove all Backup tasks related to this server beforehand!
