Share user

This functionality is available in: User Management > Share users/groups > Share users and groups

Here you can configure name and the password for the new user. To add a new user to the system, the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) should be enabled.

Name: The value in the Name field should have 1 to 20 characters: a-z A-Z 0-9 - _. It can't start or end with a space or contain several spaces in a row.
Password: The minimum length for this field is 6.

To add a new user:

1. Go to the User Management section.
2. Go to the Share users/groups tab.
3. Go to the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) subsection.
4. Make sure LDAP is enabled.
5. Go to the Share users and groups section.
6. Expand Share users subsection.
7. Click Add user.
8. In the window that appears, enter the values in the Name, Password, and Password confirmation fields.
9. Click Apply.

To add a a new group:

1. Go to the User Management section.
2. Go to the Share users/groups tab.
3. Go to the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) subsection.
4. Make sure LDAP is enabled.
5. Go to the Share users and groups section.
6. Expand share groups subsection.
7. Click Add group.
8. In the window that appears, enter the value in the Name field.
9. Click Apply.
